Met up with nodbear yesterday; much chinwagging so if your ears were burning we were probably chatting about you. Weather beautiful, Thames looking lovely, excellent food at Boulter's, Marsala o'clock beforehand. Got to touch F Pellew's chest and to understand exactly why Auden went looking for love on the Thames at Maidenhead.
