So much potential - will it be realised?

Wonderful to read about this lad, the youngest player to score a championship double century. Will he fulfil that potential he's shown, like Botham or Tendulkar or (changing sport) Jonny Wilkinson? Or will we sit in a few years and think of what might have been?
