Speaking of the world cup - goodness Scotland did well though i suppose romania isn't much of an opponent ... PIerre must be pleased! Though i think the result for old scotland on sunday may be a bit different. but i suppose they might get to the QF given their results.

#I'm peaking too soon. Half way through first match (and not even England!) and I'm all of a lather. *fans self*#
Oh i was like this too. I guess we're at the halfway point of the pool stages with scotland tonight ... here's hoping the northern hemisphere can get it together a bit better!

#I do think of Archie and Horatio as a very settled maried couple in these stories.#
I love that image of the two of them - such sweeties!

###'that film horatio likes'. ... I think Jack was being puckish here - and the combination of books was to do with making the story more interesting - the 'long chase'.#
Oh i see (re the latter point about the 2 titles) and jack was made to be puckish. Reminds me of rupert everret's puck in the film of midsommer night's dream ...

### I read an interview (or perhaps i dreamt this) that IG had wanted to be in M&C ... He'd have spoiled it, though - they were good actors in M and C.#
I can't imagine who he could have played? Pullings is the only one remotely near his age. And i don't think it would have looked right ... Ioan just doesn't look like a pullings not to mention the accent being all wrong!

###I like sticky toffee - and spotted dick. Also partial to an apple crumble. How bout you?#
Oh I adore all of them. Particularly the sticky toffee pudding. That S&M place has decent bread pudding. and there was one place i had a nice sticky toffee pudding. must think of this in advance of your visit to london some time.
