It's the echo chamber again, but this time I've got a different take on it.
The media seems to be full of bad news. In part that's because those sorts of stories sell (newspapers don't exist to tell news, they exist to sell papers!) and it's interesting that I'm finding more positive articles, talking about good things that have happened, on the sports pages than amongst the other news.
I wonder if it's bad for us to keep reading this negative stuff. Should we make an effort to get out of the echo chamber of doom and gloom sometimes and seek the good and positive? If only to remind ourselves that there's a lot more good "out there" than the media would have us believe.
