Following on from her story on Saturday of ordinary people doing extraordinary things, I saw this on the news earlier this week. Southampton scouts collected footballs to send to children on the Turkey/Syria border.
I know a lot of people feel disempowered at times, when it comes to larger world issues. I'd encourage them to do something to make their bit of the world (or another bit of the world) a better place.
