When you're a lawyer, shopping at Waitrose every day, rolling in it - you can bankroll the production. awwww. No guarantee on the fame bit but if i ever get to that status (not really exalted is it? *giggle*) absolutely. it's a deal.
Re lawyers generally, i was vegging watching the evening news and they interviewed this young boy who lost everything except his family in hurricane katrina and he's 8 and still has nightmares about it and so on but is slowly healing. And they asked him what he 'wants to be when he grows up' and he said: a famous lawyer with money b/c then my mom and sister will never have to suffer like this again. And I thought it was so strange b/c who would think of the law at that sort of age like: be a famous lawyer and this can protect my family, rather than the normal sorts of things people like to be like an astronaut or a firefighter or policeman or doctor or something like that. BUt then i realised, i suppose for some people, they think of lawyers as people who can can vindicate rights and protect others and in a very circuitous way, it confirmed to me that it might not be such a bad profession after all (even with the bar and all that).
I think we felt sorry for him - no ship, no Archie, etc. *sobs* I know. Poor guy. I really do feel for him ...
Lee is quite protective. Perhaps it's partly becuase he's such a contrast to Archoe who was always the one who was being looked after? Oh i didn't think of that. that's a very good point. In all his manifestations, it's always hh who does the 'looking after' and is mother hen-ing tho if horatio was ill or something, i'll bet archie would be equally concerned and protective though it might manifest completely differently. that would be interesting to see ...
