I hope he makes it and is magnificent at his trade. I do too - it might be one of the few rays of hope to emerge out of all this.

I suspect the latter would hate it, even flat on his back. I suppose I've explored it a bit in Bride's, but not in AOS so much. *nodding* I suppose he wouldn't want to be a burden to anyone though i expect in 1921 he behaved himself for hyacinth. She's in a class by herself and would have had no hesitation telling him to behave and stop trying to walk around reopen his wounds. Such a great character.
