Lent: Sweet Silver Angels over the Sea...

Was listening to Judee Sill's "Jesus was a Crossmaker" today in the car. Had one of those "there's some deep profound thoughts bubbling up here but can't quite express them" moments.

It's these lines which get to me.

"He wages war with the Devil, a pistol by his side
and thought he chases him out windows and won't give him a place to hide
he keeps his door open wide.
Fighting him he lights a lamp inviting him..."
