Amazing Grace (the film)
Mar. 7th, 2013 08:55 amThis, despite the title is surprisingly not a Lent related post.
I at last got to watch Amazing Grace, which wasn't a bad film at all. Lots of great actors chewing lumps off the scenery and IG really quite good. (No hand sawing spotted, if the obligatory face rubbing did happen.) Of course, I kept thinking of HH - the wet shirt scene, the deathbed scene with Pitt-as-Archie, the not quite convincing flirting with a woman - but it was a thought provoking and solid film. Oh for JB to have played Pitt, but I guess with that mouth, BC was a natural for the role.
