Had a lovely time yesterday, going up to Twickenham. Excellent meal at the Barmy Arms, on the river, then wandered through a little lane of shops where they were clearly gearing up for a Halloween late night shopping event. Lots of lanterns, etc. Very atmospheric. Then off to the Stoop for England Legends against Australia Legends. Wonderful game (more frightening sights on the pitch than anything we'd seen out on the streets, such as Jason Leonard's paunch) and one of the best tries I've ever seen!. We nabbed Simon Shaw for his autograph. My, he's a big lad...

And you know what? Tony Spreadbury was on the whistle. Best ref evah. (Sorry, Nige, but it's true.)
